About Kari

Kari has been drawing since she was a small child and went to her first art museum, The British Museum, at age 15. At this point in time, Kari realized that art could be an avenue or physical expression of the intangible world of the emotional and spiritual.

Her artwork reflects this inner world, mostly through the use of color and abstraction of shape. She uses symbolism in a reserved way and you may see a chair motif from time to time, or a light above a figure. Line takes a prominent role as it keeps the eye moving throughout the image.
